Allen Bill Pond, Kananaskis

In May 2009 the government repaired the damn that broke during a flood in 2005. Now the pond is stocked with fish and will again be one of the most popular destinations in Kananskis. There are two other fishing holes in the Elbow Valley; McLean Creek Pond and Champion Lakes.

Num-Ti-Jah Lodge

Num-Ti-Jah Lodge provides rustic but simple accommodation overlooking one of the most dramatic scenes in the Canadian Rockies. Out of Bow Lake the mountains rise steep and rugged. The blue ice of Crowfoot Glacier hangs suspended over the turquoise water. To the west, the craggy peaks of the Great Divide tower over Bow Glacier.
